I'm constantly looking for information and answers to every problem that gets put in front of me. I'm a problem solver at heart and will stop at nothing until I have figured out what the problem is and how to help fix it.
My road to becoming a PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional is certainly one less travelled by. My engineering background has taught me the importance of data and technology, but my passion for entrepreneurship constantly reminds me of the importance that experience and intuition play in any decision. My approach to teaching combines these two perspectives and results in a complete analysis of every golf swing I see.
At the end of day, golf is about having fun. Whether that means playing better, playing more often, having more confidence, or any other reason, fun is at the core of everything I do and I'm excited to help golfers have more fun on and off the course.

It wasn't until very recently in 2022 (a few months ago) that I ever had the interest to become a golf professional. I've been playing golf all my life, ever since my Grandfather took me out to the local course at Green Acres Golf Club just outside of Base Borden in Barrie, ON. It's where I fell in love with the game and begged my parents to sign me up for our local Junior Golf Program and attend Golf Camps in the summer growing up. I always had a deep passion for golf but as high school and University came around, it fell to the wayside.
While completing my Mechanical Engineering Degree, I took a hiatus from golf for about 5 years. With the time commitment needed for school and the budget constraints, I could only pick up the club once or twice a year if I was lucky.
Once out of school, as a fresh grad I went directly into the tech industry. Quickly developing my career in technical sales and marketing roles. It is in this timeframe where I caught the entrepreneurial itch and had constantly been on the lookout for new ideas and opportunities to start my own business. Then everyone knows what happened in 2020.
The Pandemic changed everything, if affected everyone in every industry and I was no exception. We had the opportunity to open Par 94 Bar and Golf Lounge in 2021 and haven't looked back since.
Owning an indoor golf simulator facility certainly has its benefits, one of which is 24/7 access to the best radar technology and Virtual Golf Software available today. Needless to say it was a significant factor in getting myself back into the game golf and improving my swing dramatically.
In 2022, I decided to fully take the leap into the golf industry and commence the process of becoming a fully certified PGA of Canada Apprentice Professional.
